The Black Bull is a good base to enjoy some excellent Midlands golf courses. Sherwood Forest Golf Club, Notts Golf Club (Hollinwell) and Coxmoor golf Club are no more than a ten minute drive away and you could be teeing up at Lindrick within the hour.

We are happy to make arrangements and book tee times for those wishing to stay with us and enjoy a golfing break.

The Minster is central to any visit you make to this historic town. Clumber Park

Clumber Park is one of several diverse National Trust properties within easy driving distance. It was once the country estate of the Dukes of Newcastle. The house was demolished in the 1930’s but the chapel remains along with a walled kitchen garden and the beautiful park. Hire a bike and ride around the lake or take your time and feed the ducks.
